The Battle of Gettysburg #2005 Epic Full Battle
Refight the entire three day Battle of Gettysburg on this epic sized mat! This is a high resolution, high quality mat, printed on a single piece of premium dense weave wrinkle free fabric. (Please note that this is a diffident material then our standard fleece mats.)
The mat measures 80" x 180" (6.5 feet by 15 feet) and represents the Battle of Gettysburg in approximately 1' = 60 yards scale. The roads are approximately 1.5" inches wide and the streams are approximately 1" wide.
This mat can be used to fight the entire three day battle of Gettysburg using your favorite set of grand-tactical ACW rules. We use Fire and Fury Brigade rules, but many other rule sets would work well. It was designed to look best with 14mm - 18mm figures, but scales from 10mm/20mm/25mm would also be suitable.
This makes a fantastic club project for a weekend of gaming in your friend's basement or an epic convention game. With some changes of buildings and terrain it will have a lot of replay value and could be used for games of 15mm - 28mm WW1, WW2, 1812, AWI, WSS, FIW, 1866, Franco-Prussian, etc.
